Global efforts by anti-hunting lobbies are increasingly tainting the image of  the hunting industry. Unfortunately some of these accusations are self-inflicted due to much hunting being done in  ecologically insensitive ways, or by being offered to hunters by outfitters or professional hunters with limited knowledge of wildlife ecology and conservation management principles in general, or population dynamics, social organisation and behaviour of game species in particular.

 

Our view is that all hunting management decisions should be based on well-researched scientific principles. Only then would hunting be a wildlife management tool with a positive impact on the natural environment and game species hunted.
